  The views are pretty awesome! It’s a beautiful place to take it all in. The hike is a fun one! You get to climb over some rocks and squeeze through some tighter areas. Getting up out of it was a pretty big incline and definitely got my heart pumping! We saw a coyote but never got to see a roadrunner. There’s a $10 charge to park and it’s on the honor system. You fill out the card and put the slip in your car windshield so they know you’ve paid. We did see rangers while we were there. I would say it’s definitely worth going and hiking if you are in the area.

  Easy trail. The narrow part is near the beginning where you may have to do a couple of light rock scrambling. After about 1 mile, the canyon opens up wider. Some cool cliffs and rock ledges. There's a pay station at the parking lot, but if you already paid for the state park you can just display the parking permit on the dashboard.

  Super cool experience, a lot of parking of course. It's easy enough for children as well. Make sure after for the sunset you bring a chair and head over to Fonts Point where the sunset is absolutely breathtaking. Keep in mind it's unpaved and sandy to go into Fonts point. We saw a Camry go all the way in but be careful- SUVs are much much better. Once you get there, park and soak in the beauty of Anza. It's amazing.

  Great hike. We went down through the slot canyon and back up to the parking lot via the road (counterclockwise). One big drop inside the slot may be challenging for some. Several places are a squeeze if your wearing a backpack. If you hike the loop starting with the slot, you regain most of the elevation in one long steep hill that takes you up to the road. Fantastic 360 views including the badlands. Restrooms at the parking lot. Bring cash for the day-use fee. Best in the early morning, no shade after the slot canyon. Takes a little more than an hour.

  Didn’t really explore the entire slot but great experience overall. Turned around after the slot widen. Really great photo opportunity in every corner. Make sure to go in early. I was leaving around 10:30 am (got there around 8am ish) and when I reached the parking lot there were A LOT of people getting ready to go in.
