A short, easy desert trail with restrooms at the start and clear markings. Reviewers say spring wildflowers are the reason to bother, and that is when it is worth the stop. Outside that, one reviewer found it dull, and the well itself has been closed off for restoration work.
An easy nature trail out to a desert spring that draws birds and, at first light, larger wildlife — one of the better places in the park for kids to actually see something move. Bring binoculars and go early; by mid-morning the animals are gone and the heat isn't.

Small hike with not much to see. The well was closed of for restoration and the trail was a bit boring. But overall good hiking trail. They have restrooms on the trail and trail markings as well.

This trail is like a hidden jewel at the west side of the Anza Borrego desert region. It provides very nice trail for the hikers. There are abundant desert wildflowers in the Spring time.
