This is a great place to visit and bring the family. There are name things to see from nature, trails, off roading, art viewing. This place seems to have it all. Be careful of the weather as the heat and pop up rain show could change a lot. Hope you enjoy your visit if you make it by the park. The visitor center is very helpful and a gift shop!

This visitor center is small but really good, make sure you enter the lab and open all the drawers where they have some very interesting samples of local stuff. They also play 15 minute movies that are worth watching, you can request any of the 4-5 movies. Very helpful,friendly and knowledgeable staff. The shop has great souvenirs and there is a water refill station by the entrance of the center. Follow the easy paths, you get to see some animals and beautiful desert plants. They offer night activities to see the stars.
