A three-quarter-mile self-guided loop with fourteen numbered markers matched to a free trailhead pamphlet, past cholla, beavertail, barrel and hedgehog cactus. The climb is short but rocky — closed-toe shoes, and keep small kids well clear of the cholla, which drops spined segments onto the trail.
