Rancho Mirage Community Park
Rancho Mirage, CA

★★★★★4.7(455 Google reviews)
This 20-plus-acre park on San Jacinto Drive has a shaded children's playground, a life-sized fire engine to climb, a water feature and an amphitheater that hosts free music-in-the-park nights. Aim for early morning or after sunset in summer, when the playground surfaces and equipment are far cooler to the touch.

Grounds are very well maintained. And here's the biggie, so are the bathrooms, only once and I must have came in just after that person ,(you know the one, we all call "the filthy slob"). How does one spray that much poop around is beyond me, and made no effort to clean any of it up. But over all the bathrooms get the golden toilet brush award!

Well manicured park in a quiet area, with play equipment, exercise equipment, lots of tennis/pickleball courts, a walking trail, restrooms and nice plantings!

Such a great park! Especially if you have children and a dog or dogs. There’s a place for the children to play- and grass area right by it for you to be with your pup. Please do everyone a favor And bring puppy poop bags just in case. There are also benches and picnic tables around for you to eat and or sit and watch.

Kids loved this place. Very nice and clean community park, with various playground equipments and very friendly and sociable people. The playground has a metal fire truck for kids to pretend play with. The park has port amenities available too for tennis, basketball and other team sports. Definitely recommend this park if you are visiting Palm Desert or around.
