This county lot on Highway 67 is the Ramona-side start for the Mount Woodson trail to Potato Chip Rock. It has about 200 spaces plus portable restrooms, and the trail leaves from Parking Area A. The climb is strenuous and exposed, with no shade and steep pavement, so it's best for fit older kids on cool mornings, and kids need close supervision at the rock.
