This is a beautiful, quiet space with some unique features. I saw a coyote with a bird in its mouth and decided to turn back on the trail so I didn't bother him. This was the trail that does not go to the summit but goes under a bridge.

East of Barcelona southeast to Jamacha trailhead is a bit creepy at parts but worth the hike. Bottom of valley surrounded by five hills is very peaceful. Abandoned road and a nice underpass. Barcelona area is a lush oasis and up to summit is an exceptional reward-based hike.
