Had lots of fun at the Bancroft Ranch House. Jim Van Meter, the caretaker, will himself be in the history books about this historical landmark. If you love learning about early San Diego/Spring Valley history, come hear all about it at this special place. Beautifully kept and many interesting exhibits.

I love this piece of history! House is hidden among industrial buildings, but once on the property you get a sense of years gone by. First house built in Spring Valley! Beautifully preserved. The curator is a friendly man with a lot of knowledge of the house and surrounding area. Definitely worth a visit!
