Bancroft County Park (Bancroft Rock House)

This 4.37-acre park surrounds a stone house built between 1885 and 1888 on historian Hubert Howe Bancroft's land, later used as a schoolhouse. It was restored in 2010. Call (619) 644-5492 ahead to arrange a look inside. It is separate from the Bancroft Ranch House Museum.
