An eight-acre permanent rodeo facility run by volunteers, home to a long-running April rodeo that's the town's biggest annual event. Seating is open bleachers with little shade or wind protection, so bring cushions and layers for an evening show.

A brilliant way to spend an evening. Being from Ireland we weren’t used to seeing that amount of armed security. It was a bit offputting and felt on easy at times. but a very friendly atmosphere with nice staff and a great show.

Super fun experience again this year. First time attending in about 10yrs and it is still fun. The rodeo pacing was really good and they moved through the program swiftly, ending on bull riding. Stadium seats are straight bleacher benches, which can be hard on the back by the end (stadium seats are not permitted). There were several small booths selling merchandise and other items. The concessions stands offer hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and beer (coors, Coors light and blue moon), while the Cowboy Cafe offers pulled pork burger and "western bacon" style burger (both were only OK).

I loved it!! My 2nd time attending the Lakeside Rodeo and thought the ticket prices were reasonable. The commentators were hilarious, the cowboys are NUTS (in a good way) how they jump in front of a bull to catch its attention to save the bull rider OMG!! The food is the only thing I would request to revamp.. this rodeo is great for the entire family.. New rodeo fan approved!!

You'll need to plan to get there a little early if you want to get decent parking and the seating was a little cramped BUT the Rodeo itself was a lot of fun! They had lots of vendors to shop, eat and drink. Very entertaining and we definitely plan on going again in the future.

Had a great time. It's a fun event for family and friends 🧡 It's good to know that the money goes to a good cause.
