Lindo Lake County Park

Lakeside, CA

★★★★★4.5(1,872 Google reviews)

Home to the only natural lake in San Diego County, this easygoing park is a local favorite for a stroll around the water, with a boathouse, playgrounds, picnic areas and a flat loop path that's stroller- and little-kid-friendly. Bring snacks and let the kids watch the ducks and turtles.

Really like when we can get out to this park. Very clean, lots of picnic tables, good amount of parking, nice walking trails, they have a skate park too! Lots of shady areas to hang out, maybe feed the ducks, a goose or 2, black bird, sparrow or any of the other numerous birds that make their playgrounds here. Also super close to Mary's Donuts (5☆) and Eastbound if you want to grab something to eat.

Lindo Lake County Park is a beautiful and well-maintained park with plenty to offer! It has a big trail, a scenic lake, baseball fields, a playground, restrooms, a skate park, and much more. The park is super clean, making it a great spot to walk, relax, or enjoy the outdoors. You’ll see lots of geese, ducks, and plenty of dogs enjoying the space too. Whether you’re here for a stroll, a picnic, or just to take in the views, it’s a great place to visit. Definitely worth checking out!

A Charming Park for a Quick Picnic and Bird Watching Lovely little park with a scenic lake—though the water isn’t the cleanest, it’s still a great spot for a picnic. I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance and variety of bird life, including many waterfowl and other species. There are a few trails toward the back, making it a nice place for a short hike. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable park for a quick nature escape.
