  Love going to the tidepools! Beautiful and relaxing. Except for the climbing around on rocks part. Its important to pay attention to the tide as well!

  A lot of fun at the Ocean Beach Tide Pool! Stunning views of the water and the boardwalk. Lots of crabs, fish, sea anemone, and sea plants to see in the rocky terrain. Also lots of pelicans, sea gulls, and other birds flying by. Walkable but can be slippery. There were some people fishing. Right next to the Santa Cruz beach spot which has lifeguards. Some of the staircases were under construction so the Santa Cruz was the only available. Recommend!

  Went to the tidepools under OB pier during -1.4 king tides. It was spectacular as you could see tidepools that are submerged year round teaming with life. Tons of crabs, lobsters, fish anemones and even a grumpy octopus. Flashlights kept the fun going well into the evening. As if that wasn't awesome enough once we were done poking around we still had plenty of time to watch the OB holiday parade. What a night we had!

  Ocean Beach Tide Pools are such a special place to watch and feel the sunset. We spotted an octopus, a sea slug, and a crab, and the anemones were absolutely stunning. A truly magical spot that makes you feel connected to nature.

  Some nice views here and kids enjoyed finding crabs along the rocks at low tide. Walk down stairs and nice paved path along the beach. Can even get down to the water in some areas. Parking is very limited will need to park on street.
