What parents say

AI summary of 5 Google reviews — not a first-hand visit. How we write these

A wide beach with room to spread out, fire pits if you find one free, showers, and free parking, though reviewers say finding a space takes a while. Restrooms are repeatedly described as dirty. One reviewer reports the pier itself closed, so check first. Dog Beach is a walk north.

Laid-back beach with a wide sandy stretch and a long fishing pier (pier periodically closed for repairs).

I am very happy to live here! The local scene is very laaaiiiidd back. Sure there are ups and downs anywhere you go but I'm gonna just mention some ups. You can't beat the weather, food, drink and music scene. Farmers market every Wednesday, musicians playing in the streets. Not to mention the beaches and the Pacific Ocean, which is the largest ocean on this planet. And Dog Beach is the first leash free beach in the United States. The pier, which is sad to have it temporarly closed, is the longest concrete structure off of the West Coast. Just some fun facts for ya. For a local it's all within walking distance. Good for stumbling home. Check it out! It's awesome!

Cool spot to hangout. Happen to find some surfers. These guys are pretty good. I have plenty of shots, if anyone knows them. This place is 👌!
