The grassy strip next to the Saratoga Ave beach, bordering the lifeguard station parking lot, has showers and food nearby, and the beach is popular for boogie boarding and bodysurfing. Alcohol, glass and smoking are banned on the beach, the park and the lots. Dogs aren't allowed here 9am–6pm (Apr–Oct) or 9am–4pm (Nov–Mar), and are welcome only at Dog Beach at the north end.
