Cathedral City Community Amphitheater & Park

Cathedral City, CA

★★★★★4.5(81 Google reviews)

The heart of the downtown arts district, this open-air amphitheater and festival lawn hosts free community concerts and events beside the Fountain of Life. Kids enjoy running on the Commons lawn and the fountain plaza on cooler evenings — sunset shows are the sweet spot as the desert cools fast.

It's amazing venue, clear view from all directions. The sounds system are great. They do have several level, VIP, tables, regular plus lawn seating. They also have playground in the back next to the restrooms. Really enjoy the venue a lot. Parking structure is very close by, witching 2-5mins walk. It also nearby brewery too.

The entertainment was fun. They played a lot of good dance music from the 70s and 80s. The sound system was pretty good too

This is a wonderful amphitheatre. Amazing acoustics, a perfect size and very easy to park. We listened to the cool grooves of "Radio Ready" and they were terrific!!

If I could give it a 0 star I would have. 1st. Time celebrating Pride at Cathedral city. Pride tickets were not worth it. Inside food was overpriced. The artist presented on flyer turn out, not to present on stage. It was so lame that half the crowd left by 8:00pm. Drinks and food were overpriced. Besides killing the mood by Aundrew christian attitude. Never been disappointed in a Pride like this one in Cathedral city.😒🌈

City puts on free yoga every spring at 8:30 a.m. with gentle yoga and at 10:00 a.m. with power yoga. Check the city web page for details. Easy free parking in the structure right next door.
