We had so much fun exploring the murals around Twentynine Palms—it honestly felt like a scavenger hunt trying to find them all. Each one is unique and tells a different story about the area, from desert scenery to local history and culture. Part of the experience is just driving or walking around town and spotting the next mural when you least expect it. It really turns the whole town into an open-air art gallery. Definitely worth taking the time to explore if you’re visiting the area!
