The national park's visitor center now sits downtown at Freedom Plaza (6533 Freedom Way). It has exhibits, a bookstore, flush restrooms and a water-bottle filler and it's the place to pick up maps and ask rangers about conditions before driving in through the North Entrance. Fill water bottles here, since the park has very little water.
