  Clean, well-kept park. Grass is green, even in this scorching sun. Many trees to sit under for shade. There's also a public pool and clean restrooms. I bring my dogs here every chance I get when staying in this part of high desert CA.

  Nice location, lots of playgrounds for all ages, plenty of grass that is kept green and mostly soft in the middle of the desert. Only took a star off for the fact that there’s hardly any lighting once it’s dark. There’s a parking lot behind the park and there’s street parking on the other side. It states no pets but you’ll notice some smaller ones are carried around. There’s pathways around the playgrounds for those starting to learn to bike or skate, and even a skate park on the other side of the parking lot near the Parks & Recreation building. A large field for soccer practice, and a few sheltered gazebos you can reserve for a get together. Bonus, working bathrooms are usually available and kept clean, though they tend to be out of soap.

  We came here for the carnival today and had a blast. Our kids usually play at a different park so I had never been here before and never realized what a nice spot it is to catch views of the surrounding desert hills. Lovely!
