  Super quiet, clean bathrooms. The shower steam is so strong that it was overwhelming. Nice area with plenty of beautiful trees and view. Good place to hike and climb rocks.

  This is a really nice campground! Some sites are on a slant, so it helps to research before booking. We stayed at site #58, which was a great choice—it was close enough to the restrooms for convenience (especially helpful since we had a pregnant friend with us) but not so close that it was noisy. The restrooms are flushable and well-kept, though I wouldn’t recommend the sites directly behind them since you’ll hear a lot of flushing. It’s also super convenient that the campground is right in town, so we had quick access to anything we needed. One thing to note is that hammocks aren’t allowed, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

  Tucked away in the mountains, Idyllwild Regional Park is pure magic. The trails weave through towering pines and massive boulders, with quiet pockets of shade that feel like secret hideouts. Campsites are clean, well-spaced, and you actually get some real peace and quiet without feeling packed in like sardines. Morning walks here are insane — crisp air, birds everywhere, and those slow-burn sunrise colors bleeding through the trees. If you want that old-school California mountain town vibe without the chaos, this place hits different.
