What parents say

AI summary of 5 Google reviews — not a first-hand visit. How we write these

A per-vehicle entry fee that reviewers say covers a week, and free with an annual parks pass. Plenty of parking and clean toilets. You can do the viewpoint and visitor center in about an hour or stay longer for trails. The tide pools sit on the ocean side and mean a separate drive down.

Point Loma landmark with sweeping bay views, a historic lighthouse, and tide pools at low tide.

Such a great place in San Diego. Great to see and learn some of the city's history. Great views and hiking trails. The pass you buy upon entering is good for 1 week. I was pleasantly surprised when the ranger told me that. Also they tide pools are fun to check out.

Wasn't a planned visit, but definitely worth going. Beautiful scenery, great staff and learned quite a bit that I didnt know before, which is the best part. From the original landing to being developed into coastal defense it was all wonderfully presented. Views of the bay and mountains in the background are worth it alone. The tide pools and geology were a highlight as well. I'd definitely stop back to spend more time.
