Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum
Nine acres at 18001 Yorba Linda Blvd with the museum, President Nixon's birthplace home, gardens and the Marine One helicopter on display. Interior helicopter tours are paused for preservation work, and parking is free.

Adventure Playground (Hurless Barton Park)
The city's water-play playground has waterslides (48-inch minimum height, riders must be swimmers), splash pads and play structures at 4701 Casa Loma Ave. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult, and non-residents can reserve only seven days ahead.

A 2,500-square-foot historic ranch house at 5700 Susanna Bryant Dr, run by the Yorba Linda Historical Society, with five rooms on ranching, citrus, water and local history and a mini medical exhibit, plus restored botanic gardens. It's open only one afternoon a month, so confirm by phone first.
