The Quarter Horse Drive trailhead, off Fairmont Blvd., is Chino Hills State Park's Yorba Linda entrance. The city's 3.5-acre staging area there has restrooms, picnic tables and horse-trailer parking, and it closes after dark. The state park closes for at least 48 hours after more than 1/4 inch of rain and on Red Flag days, and dogs are not allowed on dirt trails. As of Oct. 25, 2026 all of the park's trails were temporarily closed after rain, so check the park page before you go.
