  Love it. Lots to look at. People watching. Good drinks. Wide selection of shopping. Tasty food. Amazing weather. You can ride your bike, roller skate, skate board, walk around, look at the ocean ( too cold for me, I like the Atlantic Ocean better) you can bring family or friends...its even nice alone. They have the skate park. Basketball courts. Tennis courts. It has sand or grass areas. And lots of art.

  Venice Beach Boardwalk — The Reset I Needed I had one of those days that reminds you what all the work is really for. Being out on the Venice Beach Boardwalk with my family felt different. The air, the noise, the people, everything had energy. Music playing, performers doing their thing, people just living. And right there in the middle of it, it was just us enjoying it all. The beach always does something to me. It slows everything down. You stop thinking about problems and start paying attention to what is right in front of you. The sound of the waves, the feeling of the breeze, the way the sun hits the water. It brings you back. Walking with my family, laughing, talking, not worrying about anything else for a while, that is what matters most. That is the part of life that actually sticks with you. I love getting to the beach. Every time I go, it feels like I get something back that I did not even realize I was missing. Days like that are not small moments. Those are the ones that count.

  The beach was gorgeous but the boardwalk was kinda eh. Not many food options and a lot of questionable people as well. Also, I partake in smoking herb as well but there is a time and a place. And I feel that places like this with families and children is not the place but to each their own.

  This is a fun place to people watch and shop. It’s no longer at its best so you do see some people who are down and out. For the most part it is clean and friendly. Muscle Beach is still there where you can watch body builders work out in the sunshine, but rarely do you see anyone there. Overall, Venice Beach is a great way to spend some time and try en keep walking down to the Santa Monica Pier.

  Such an idyllic setting but the homeless camps under the trees, the open drug use... California, what happened to you? Bringing kids here is a huge CAUTION. VERY SAD. DO BETTER.
