This big 6,000-foot forest campground has flush toilets and coin showers, and it sits at the north end of the Sunset Trail near Little Laguna Lake. Ranger programs run at the amphitheater, and SDSU's observatory has held summer star parties for campers. Part of the campground is fenced off to protect the endangered Laguna Skipper butterfly.
