A remote county beach park at the end of Jalama Road (9999 Jalama Rd), about 20 miles southwest of Lompoc, with 107 ocean-view campsites, cabins and day use. It's popular with surfers and kiteboarders. It's an exposed open-coast surf beach, so watch kids closely in the water. Some Vandenberg SpaceX launches trigger evacuations or shelter-in-place notices, which the county posts on its Jalama launch page.
