Lompoc's skate park sits in College Park, off W. College Ave next to Lompoc High, the YMCA and the Aquatic Center, surrounded by shade trees and lawn. The city opened the 10,000-square-foot park in 2000 and has a state-funded plan to replace it with a larger 15,500-square-foot park with a playground, so check whether construction has it closed before you go.
