County-owned stairways and paths lead from the Del Playa bluffs down to the beach at El Embarcadero, Camino Pescadero, Sueño, Escondido Pass and Camino Majorca. Camino Pescadero has a small park with picnic tables, Chumash history signs and an outdoor shower. The beach is narrow below steep cliffs and the tide can cut it off, so check a tide table, go at low tide, and never let kids climb the bluffs.
