What parents say

AI summary of 4 Google reviews — not a first-hand visit. How we write these

One reviewer was turned away for bringing three children with only one adult, and describes recreational swim sold in short blocks, so confirm the supervision rules before driving over. Other reviewers call the pools well kept and rarely crowded, handy after the loop trails nearby.

Family pools and splash play near the Rose Bowl, great for hot-day water fun.

I drove an hour to bring my three kiddos swimming, only to be turned away because I was told I needed two adults. My two older children are confident, competent swimmers, so I was surprised by the policy and honestly don’t understand the purpose of having lifeguards on duty if parents are still required to provide all the supervision. The recreation schedule is also disappointing — paying for access to swim for only one hour feels pretty unreasonable. For families, I highly recommend Verdugo Hills Pool instead. You can swim for up to four hours, bring all your kids, and it’s only about a dollar per person. It’s a much more family-friendly option.
