  Parking is $8 to drive alllllll the way down to the most stunning hike up the cliffs. The hike was fairly moderate & beautiful at the top. Be careful at the top! We visited in May, midweek and it was quiet on the beach. Once you park you can’t come and go, so pack a lunch and enjoy the whole day at the beach. There was also bathrooms to use nearby.

  Absolutely breathtaking! Point Dume State Beach is easily one of the most beautiful spots in Malibu. The views are stunning from every angle, and the photos you get here come out unreal. Super easy access to the beach, which makes it even better, and parking was convenient with plenty of spaces available — only $6 for a 2-hour window, which is a great deal for a spot like this. ** HIGHLIGHT— We saw whales while we were there, which made the whole experience unforgettable. If you’re in the Malibu area, this is a must-visit for the views alone , peaceful, scenic, and picture-perfect.

  Gorgeous views especially from the top of the hiking trail. Come March and early April you will see the sea of flowers on the trail, overseeing the blue ocean while the seagulls flying in a line overhead. Yes I know it’s a blessing living only twenty five minutes away by driving. In summer it’s always busy in the day but if you come in just to watch the sunset you will have a lot of room. Parking after 4:00pm is a bit cheaper than during the day. We had lots of great memories here. Highly recommended for all who enjoy the beach. Sorry I don’t think dogs are allowed.

  Quiet and clean beach. You can relax here with less noise around. We were there on Sunday morning till 3 pm and it was not too much crowded. Clean restrooms and active lifeguards. Plenty of parking for paid parking lot.

  One of my favorite beach in LA but be careful about the parking. It’s already 4:00PM and signs says it should be open but no. Some “scheduled road work” and no workers on site unfortunately
