A historic Hollywood movie ranch and National Park land with flat, grassy, oak-lined loop trails — gentle enough for strollers and rich with film history.

Great place to hike. Very sad that fires burnt the buildings years ago. Family hike, from the youngest to the oldest. Great place to make good memories with dear college roommate.

Paramount Ranch is this cool little town built as a movie set. I love their Halloween event, and there are plenty of trails to hike nearby. There is lots of parking and the place can feel like an old western ghost town. It is like a peek into the past. Shows like Westworld filmed here, and you can see the iconic church in the background. It was destroyed by a fire in 2028 but it is being rebuilt...

Today is December 8, 2025. And now everyone can see how the American National Parks organization works and where our taxes are going. This result leads nowhere, certainly not to restoration, reconstruction, or improvement of the park territories. By 2025, the reconstruction of the Paramount Ranch sets that burned down in 2018 should have been completed. But the photographs clearly show that everything is abandoned, unfinished, and neglected, which only signifies negligence, immorality, and a careless attitude on the part of the authorities and the state. This is a shame and disgrace for America, a shame and disgrace for the state of California, and a shame and disgrace for the national parks.

A great place for hiking. This location is well known for being the set of classic Wild West-style movies. Unfortunately, in 2018, most of the town was destroyed by a major wildfire. Today, only a small church remains. Reconstruction is currently underway and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. Nearby, you'll find the Coyote Trail, which offers stunning views of the mountains.
