New to the State, decided to mark off another item from my Bucket List. Always wanted to see the MASH filming location. I was not disappointed. What a beautiful State Park, the views are just spectacular here. The hike to the location took me just over an hour, but I was stopping to take photos of various spots along my hike too. My only regret was not having more time to truly explore more of the area. I will be returning again this summer to hike around more spots. I would like to remind anyone coming up here to be EXTREMELY mindful of where you are, this is a wilderness area which is home to a lot of wildlife. You are in their home, think before you decide to approach that friendly looking Forest Puppy, or that cute cat w the murder mittens. It won't end well for either of you. Lastly, the rattlesnakes, I was in the park about 6 hours total, I encountered 4 of them, almost stepped on one of them. Be careful where you step or where you decide to put your hand if climbing up a ledge. Aside from that, enjoy this truly beautiful place and relax.

Gorgeous state park! I was lucky to go the day after all the rain and everything was just green and amazing! Saw so much wildlife! Only downside was the mud was a bit slippery but my guess is it’s rarely like that! I hope everyone comes here to explore and enjoy the wildlife! Just remember to be respectful and clean!

The park is beautiful. It has it all. Mountains Rock formations, creeks, streams and what's left of the MASH set. Make sure you go over the bridge after you go to the visitor center otherwise you'll be stuck. We loved it. It was a perfect Hike for a senior, except when we took a wrong turn away from the bridge after the visitor center and got stuck at the creek and had to turn back.

Abundant parking. Beautiful views and very easy and nice trails. Nice waterfall with varying amount depending on rainfall. Has a nice information center with local native history and taxonomy of local flora & fauna.

Rock pool is kinda of dirty.I LOVE THE VISITOR CENTER cool rocks and animals bones and animals to look at. People there at the visitor center are so nice and really smart especially the air conditioning.
