A 29-acre county beach park with a 1,500-foot fishing pier, wide lawns for picnics, a large modern playground, and a paved bike path — Goleta's main family beach and a calmer alternative to the busier Santa Barbara waterfront.

Goleta was beautiful and quiet. The pier was amazing!! We loved the pelicans. The water smelled so nice. Parking was good and the air was fantastic!!

I love the park by the beach. Lots of BBQ stations. Plenty of picnic tables. Cleanish bathrooms with TP and hand soap! Park Rangers on site. Plenty of parking. Unfortunately, the beach is dirty. Seaweed everywhere. The pier needs major repair. We didn't even go on the sand. Tar is usually on the beach (naturally-occurring) in Santa Barbara and SB County beaches. I miss going on the sand and in the ocean, but the tar is not worth it.
