  I was first introduced to this park many years ago when I came for my first swimming lesson as a child. After lessons, my brothers and sisters and I would go play at the park many times. Visiting the park as an adult no doubt brought back fond memories. The park still offers that green open space with mature trees, but new is the terrific community garden. I thought that was very cool. The playground equipment is closed for repair, as of this review, and they offer a small fenced off dog park area. Their plenty of parking and good restroom facilities on sight. The best part of this park is definitely the open space and hills and such. They still offer swimming lessons during the summer. This park brought back some good memories.

  Great community center. We had our wedding and reception here. Sundays will give you very limited time but for the cost its very inexpensive compared to other venues. You want to book on a day with extended time when they dont have other events so you can give yourself plenty of time to set up. They are very friendly and helpful. They provide tables and chairs for the rental rooms and the arbor view room has a dance floor

  You can run, kick balls, chase the dogs, play Frisbee golf, go to the enclosed gated dog park, which in itself is big. They is room for everybody without being in the way. A good walking grounds workout.

  I like this park a lot. This review is not for the child's playground at the community center, but for the park across the street. There is ample parking either at the baseball field for the south entrance, or at the north near the pool. At the north entrance is the community pool, community garden and basketball courts. Parking is uncovered. There are shady areas and one sitting area next to the pool entrance. At the south entrance there is the restroom building, a small fenced dog area, uncovered seating and tables and the path leading to the grass/park area. Much of the park is uncovered and unshaded. There are scattered trees and small shaded areas to find a space to walk your dog or picnic. At the north end of the park the noise level can get loud, as the north end is right next to the 8 freeway which is visible from the north hill. Much of the park on this side is also lined by homes/backyards. Lots of open space, fresh air and rolling hills. Wear shoes that can go uphill/downhill if possible. Some of the north paths are very steep for flipflops or slides. Leash your dogs please! Many dog owners are not mindful of the park rules, or don't have commands available to call their loose dog back to them. A little irritating at times: Im a dog person, but wouldn't let my dog bother others enjoying the park that may not be. Overall it's a beautiful park, and not too busy on weekends unless there's a baseball game.
