A small four-gallery museum covering Native American and pre-Columbian artifacts, fossils, minerals and western art. It's directly next door to the Water Conservation Garden, so the two make one natural trip with free parking.

Wonderful place to spend an hour or two. Very informative with exceptional displays and helpful staff. If you go on a weekend, expect a fair number of kids enjoying the displays and helpful volunteers with "hands on" artifacts. Two HC ♿ parking spaces up front.

Lots to see and learn: fossils, rocks, local Indian tribes items. Good exhibits and helpful staff.

A gem of East County that's not to be missed. This is one of my most favorite places to take my friends and family. Every time I go there I see beautiful new displays and learn something different. Classes and lectures have been excellent. I highly recommend a visit.

An amazing collection, from fossils, arrowheads, Native American jewelry, to jade, sculptures and paintings. I was very impressed with the variety of artifacts. The displays made items easy to see. The guide made it really great cause he knew so much about the items. Not many items have a write up besides a basic name and date. The gift shop had some really cool stuff too and at good prices.

A lovely museum in the water conservation garden. The staff are very friendly and responsible. They suggested us to start with the fossils and then go around in a circle. They have fossils, paintings, taxidermy mounts, minerals, ancient arrows and shells.
