A volunteer-run museum covering local Native American history, ranching and the pioneer era, with an unusually good collection for a town this size. Hours are limited to a few days a week, so call before making the drive out.

The Valley Center History Museum is a GEM!! It’s FREE but please leave a monetary donation in the donation box if you can. The parking is easy and the museum is on one level. They have SO many cool artifacts. The lady working there was so sweet and knowledgeable. She has a great love of VC and she was well informed. The displays are beautiful and really interesting!! Lots of things and very famous people came from or started in VC. The Valley Center History Museum is a treasure and I hope it is there forever!!
