Old Town La Quinta
La Quinta, CA

★★★★★4.6(1,274 Google reviews)
A walkable, Spanish-style Main Street at the foot of the mountains lined with restaurants, boutiques and ice cream, plus a seasonal farmers market and family events. Fountains and shaded corridors make it pleasant for a stroll — come in the cooler evening in summer and grab a treat while you wander.

Super cute old town area with an assortment of restaurants and boutiques. I enjoyed food and a snack here. There are limits on other activities

Old town feel in a modern way. Love coming here and supporting all the local shops and restaurants! Some of my favorite shops are: H2O Apothecary (Clean cosmetic shop. Steve the owner is so knowledgeable!) Roam.e (Unique fashionable clothing for all ages. Cherry, the owner, is a wonderful stylist! Also has La Quinta shirts and stickers you won't find anywhere else!) La Quinta Olive Oil Company (The balsamic are my new everything! I have MANY. Go in for free tastings!) And a pottery store off the main drag a couple blocks over that I can't remember the name of. Favorite Food & Beverage places for a Gluten Free Pescatarian Caffeine lover are: Cali Rosina (coffee, matcha, tea) Main Street Coffee Co RdRnnr (restaurant) Casa Mendoza for Margaritas! Stuft Pizza for all things and Sports watching! Yes Please! - Breakfast stuff and my favorite Acai bowl! The Sunday Farmers market is small but also unique. Every booth has something special and the produce is beautiful. There are so many more places here for me to try out. Something for everyone!

Old Town La Quinta is a picturesque little area, but honestly, it’s pretty underwhelming. You can walk through the whole setup very quickly, and it lacks the vibrancy or variety you might expect from a "town center." There are a few decent restaurants scattered around if you need a convenient bite, but nothing truly memorable. Honestly, the best experience there is probably just stopping by the ice cream shop Nitroinfusions. It's a perfectly fine spot if you're already in the neighborhood and want a quick scoop, but it’s definitely not a destination worth going out of your way for.

It was old and well maintained. Lots of food and drinks, small shops, we were walking around and enjoying the atmosphere.

Went here on a Sunday for the Farmers Market, good vendors and a lot of people, but a nice place to hang out or walk through when you can't find anything else to do on a Sunday. Several restaurants to eat at with good food. Plenty of parking available.
