  So cool!! These sculptures are all over the area, over 130 of them. There is a map you can follow but they are pretty easy to spot as you drive around. Be prepared. You can drive up to a lot of them but it's narrow rocky, dirt roads lined with cactus and dry brush. Truck is best. Also lots of small animals so be careful.

  Fun attraction to get up close and personal with while visiting Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. The installations are scattered around and it is easy to park near the sculptures and make your way finding all the pieces. We went on a super windy day, but it somehow made the experience more fun and exciting!!

  Awesome place. It’s about 15 minutes from Anza Borrego Visitors center. Lots of metal sculptures of animals. The sculptures are not all in one location. You have to drive drive drive to each sculptures. It takes about 1 hour to see everything if you also take photos and walk all around.

  Unexpected and oddly beautiful sculptures in the middle of a desert landscape. We drove up through Ramona and back through Julian for a variety of climates and views all in one day. Recommend stopping by the Visitors Center to get your bearings and ask for good trail recommendations for the day. Worth a trip out to see this unique site.

  We just started out in February for a drive and ended up here. The sculptures are scattered over about 5 square miles with varying themes from the giant sea serpent to wild horses. We were very happy we went. The area also has the park head quarters with interesting information about the land and animals that still live there. The area draws people in the winter months when the desert is covered with wild flowers. Unfortunately this past season suffered drought conditions and high temperatures that limited the bloom to just a few days. Entrance to the state park is $9 and is paid in the park building.
