Old Agoura Park

Agoura Hills, CA

★★★★★4.6(198 Google reviews)

This rustic park reflects Old Agoura's horse-country character, with an accessible playground, ball field, grassy fields and even an equestrian arena you might catch in use. Ramps and modified equipment mean kids of all abilities can play together, and it sits right by the Cheeseboro trailhead for an easy playground-plus-hike combo.

Such a gorgeous little park with a trail and a baseball stadium. As well as picnic tables, a jungle gym for the little ones and a CLEAN BATHROOM 🙌 in case you need to go. Bring your dog too b/c it's pet friendly! We live in Cam but come here quite often on my hubby's lunch breaks b/c it's so peaceful. Thank you to the humans who take such good care of this park! We appreciate you! 💛

The Park itself is NOT a dog park, it is a regular park with no enclosed dog areas. Across from the park there is a trail that goes into North Ranch open space. Old Agoura park is relatively small and the main grass area is fenced off 3 months of the year for "rejuvenation" and another 3 months dedicated to little league. I am not sure what the issue is with dog owners in the area, but they don't seem to pick up their dogs shit very often even though there are free shit bags and receptacles in a couple areas of the park.

What a marvelous horse focused community where it feels like the good old American gold rush era It’s truly a magical place and portal for horse lovers… most of the horse ranches belong to the actual people who love their beautiful horses I AM in love with this mysterious magical marvelous “secret” horse lovers spot

Hot, but partially shaded trails. Connects to multiple places on trails. Have someone drop you off here and pick you up from wherever you are at the end of your hike! Beautiful southern California scenery. Nice and peaceful. Only the sound of nature when you go far enough. I went here with a hiking class I'm enrolled in ^_^
