  We had been looking forward to visiting Sunnylands for quite some time, and on June 6, 2026, we finally had the opportunity to take a tour. We started with the residence tour and were thoroughly impressed. The home is beautifully preserved, featuring stunning décor, remarkable artwork, and fascinating historical details. I highly recommend the residence tour for anyone interested in history, art, architecture, or interior design. We also participated in the garden tour, which was enjoyable, but much of the information overlapped with what was already covered during the residence tour. In hindsight, we would have been perfectly satisfied with just the home tour. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and the residence tour was definitely the highlight of our visit.

  Spent an enjoyable hour walking through the impressive and beautiful free gardens. Beautifully manicured grounds. Theater movie was worthwhile-explained the founders and the role Sunnylands played with US presidents. Didn't do the house tour or shuttle tour. We didn't use it but they had a free download for a narrated walking tour if you have the time.

  Today, I only visited the beautiful gardens full of succulents all in bloom, along with cacti and desert trees which can tolerate the heat. The best aspect of this center is it demonstrates practically how to landscape and keep a garden without sacrificing beauty and anesthetics while being water conscious.

  Gorgeous property and lovely visitor center. You must watch the short video to get to know the generous family who shared their Estate with dignitaries. ** Google Maps gives you front directions. It only takes you to private entrance. You can only enter to visitor center.

  The garden was beautiful! I really liked how big the garden is, and there were a lot of trees. While I was walking through the paths, I felt calm and at peace. It was a very relaxing place to visit.
