  Absolutely recommend! Quite a few trails to go through. Everyone can do this. Some slopes may seem steep but they aren’t. I have back issues so I needed to pace myself and that’s all. Stairs on multiple parts as well. Of course many donkeys all around. You can hear them. Very friendly animals. They will come straight up to you so just be cautious if you get scared. We did see a coyote as we walked our trail coming back down. So again be cautious and aware of the surroundings. There is a portable toilet. It was surprisingly clean but did smell. I always bring wipes and stuff to use. I didn’t see a water fountain but there are 3 picnic tables I believe. We went at 10am, Plenty of parking. As you drive up to the parking you see many donkeys and please drive carefully bc they will stand in the street. I throughly enjoyed this place. Definitely one I will come back to again and again.

  DO NOT feed the donkeys from your car!!! They will get hit because they will run up to cars and think they have food. You can feed the donkeys at the top of the mountain. You can feed them carrots and celery ONLY!!! Drive slow donkeys are everywhere. I love this place will definitely be back soon.

  We went at the hottest time of the day. Was able to see burros just walking down the road on our way to the parking lot. Plenty of parking available at the time and the road was a bit narrow at some parts on the way there

  Excellent relaxing hike. And donkeys are friendly … we recommend to take some apples and bananas and hydration. And share your fruit with donkeys, we fed them from our hands. Be nice to them.
