These 40 hilly acres sit in the Box Springs foothills on the east side of UC Riverside, with more than 4 miles of trails. The paths are mostly dirt and slopes, so a sturdy stroller or a carrier works better than a light umbrella stroller. Buy a campus visitor permit at the pay station, because every car parked on campus needs one.
