About 15 minutes east off the I-10, the giant roadside Dinny and Mr. Rex are a guaranteed kid hit and an Inland Empire icon. Snap photos of the big dinosaurs free from the parking lot, or pay to go inside with the smaller animatronic dinos and a dino-dig area. A great quick stop on the way to or from Palm Springs.

I feel that in life there comes a time an individual questions, what more is there to see in life, what more is there to do? Well I found myself asking these very questions not but a week ago, when I gazed upon this, should be national treasure. These dinos may have saved me, seeing Dinney the Dino up close and in person after all these years of living a life of an empty walking meat shell of a human being without meaning, I have found something worth pushing through for. these concrete structures shining bright above the desert sands have brought a new meaning into my life, a better one. As I find myself looking back on my experience I realize every moment of my life has led me to those beautiful dinosaurs conveniently off of interstate 10, and I am so grateful for this sweet truth. Call it what you will, fate, destiny, luck, whatever it is, I'd follow the path that led me here every single time if I could do it all over again. The happiest I've ever been was reached upon walking inside the Dino gift shop of this wonderful roadside attraction, and I cannot recommend enough just how crucial it is to view these stunning masterpieces at least once in your lifetime. Not from California? sell your kidneys. worth it for the plane ticket to come see these beauties. words cannot express the satisfaction I maintain with the knowledge of existing in the same frame of time as these sculptures of glory carved at the hands of God himself. so next time you're driving down the 10 near or in California remember this, a few more miles is forever worth it, for Dinney the Dino. 5/5 stars highly recommend 👍👍🦕🦖👍👍

Best part of the Carbazon Dinosaurs is the fact you can climb up in them. Remember Peewee Hermans adventure movie?? Always wanted to go up inside a Dinosaur since I was a kid. Was too far in the desert. At the top there wasn't rows of seats like in the movie, but was a cute gift shop. Had Dinosaur this and that and the girl behind the counter was very professional. Knew her stuff. Receipt said, "Charlie". Not 100 that was her name but she said she loved working there, that the Dinosaurs are painted different colors with different decorations every few months or so. She also was very polite and had a text book way to describe Mr. Rex's Dinosaurs adventure and the way to get there. Mr. Rexs Dinosaur Adventure is the only way to see way more Dinosaurs and the chance to climb into the T. Rex. Even if you choose not to take the adventure, check out Cabazon Dinosaurs. You at least can take some memorable pictures, get climb into one of the Dinosaurs, and leave with a token that you had been there. Had a lot of fun. You can too!

Just stopped here for a quick photo on my way to Palm Springs, as this is kind of a world famous road side attraction. Wasn't aware that there is actually a bit more to see here. Lots of parking spaces, well kept dinosaurs. Fun stuff. Probably really awesome if you have kids with you. Lots of dining options close by like the Panda Express, which was really good and was impressed by the vibe of the whole Morongo area.

My son did enjoy the visit but many of the dinosaurs are in bad shape, very little interactive things to do and tickets were definitely too high for what it offered. There isn’t a ton of activities for kids in Desert Hot Springs, so we went with it…but it needs a lot of attention and upkeep.

Such a neat attraction. As a child, my dad would always stop here on our way to Mexico for family vacation. 25+ years later, I had the opportunity to bring my own kids and share a little piece of my childhood with them. It was so special watching them experience a place that holds so many memories for me. Of course they weren’t as colorful as they are now. But it’s nice to see they are still there and thriving
