Corona del Mar State Beach is a super fun beach with a lively crowd on the weekends that tends to skew younger, views for miles, and it's tucked away around some massive mansions. This is the spot we take all our guests to get a true SoCal vibe — you can watch boats leave the Newport Harbor marina while people are just out having fun.

Love the color of the water at this beach. But be aware that the tide can come in close so please give yourself plenty of space between where you set up and the water. The tide came in and flooded our tent even though we thought we were a good distance away.

Good beach just down the road from Huntington beach. Plenty of parking space but price is a bit outrageous. $35 daily or $28 for 3 hours, you do the math. Hard to find free street parkings, and walking down to the beach. Beach is ok not super clean, and plenty of shades. Nice small picnic area.
