Corona del Mar State Beach

Newport Beach, CA

Soft sand framed by rocky jetties and tide pools, with fire rings for a sunset cookout. One of OC's prettiest family beaches.

Good beach just down the road from Huntington beach. Plenty of parking space but price is a bit outrageous. $35 daily or $28 for 3 hours, you do the math. Hard to find free street parkings, and walking down to the beach. Beach is ok not super clean, and plenty of shades. Nice small picnic area.

and we had a great time at Corona Del Mar State Beach! The beach was clean, and the restrooms were available and free to use. Parking area available free on the street or $9 per hour inside the parking lot

This is a beautiful public park and beach access to enjoy the beach and of course watch the sunset. Boat watching on the north end is a lot of fun too.

Love this beach. Beautiful views and more of a secluded state beach. Good waves and you feel more protected since the layout is more of in a “U” shape beach front. Restrooms are well taken care of. There’s another section to the right section that’s more of a cave vibe that you need to do a small hike. If the tide is high there’s little room to lay on the sand and tan or rest. It’s a private little enclosed area as well since the marina is nearby. There’s an area to play volley ball and small BBQ pits and a snack bar. Also, you’re allowed to drop off your beach stuff before entering the parking lot and then head back up the hill. 💜💜💜💜💜💜

One of my favorite beaches that I’ve visited! Had a huge amount of parking, lots of beach’s space and the waves were awesome, definitely bigger than expected but still had a lot of people bogey boarding and swimming and restrooms on hand! Highly recommend this for a good beach visit if your in the area
