A wonderful museum near Downtown Long Beach. This museum, although rather small, offers a wonderful insight into pacific cultures with a focus on Micronesian cultures. The staff are very helpful and knowing, which made the visit even more worthwhile. I liked this museum very much and definitely recommend it!

It's just 1 room & a garden (that you can see from the outside); no descriptions. It's focused on art, not history, so it's supposed to be interpretive (argubaly not for kids). It's self-guided but the cashier tells you a little about the exhbit. It took under 10 minutes so I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for it; walk over when you're visiting MOLAA.
