  Clean, elegant library with substantial selection. I was delighted to see so much timber used in this building. The wood is a very warm and welcoming red-orange. There's a large selection of books as expected. They also have a special collections room, printing, computers, and free WiFi.

  This Billie Jean King library in downtown Long Beach is one of our newer locations. The building is beautiful and it offers so many resources for its visitors. There are tons of public computer stations for library card holders & open spaces to read, relax or work. There is also a studio are where you can record music, access computers for design work, 3D printer , classes and more! We love it here. Drawbacks, unfortunately there are some. The homeless seem to congregate outside of the building & bring some of what comes with it. Limited metered street parking outside. Once inside you will be happy that we have this library here. Make sure that you pay the meters because nothing will ruin your visit more than a ticket. Enjoy.
