The wide, soft-sand beach closest to downtown (780 E. Shoreline Dr.), where a paved bike path and a separate walking path run east toward Belmont Shore. The concession rents beach cruisers and 3–6 person surrey bikes, and there are restrooms with rinse showers and blue mobility mats for strollers and wheelchairs. Parking is metered in the lot behind the beach; dogs are allowed only at the separate Rosie's Dog Beach.
