With over 79,000,000+ views on my Google reviews as a Level 9 expert Google Reviewer, I always aim to give clear and honest feedback. Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve is truly a must do if you are visiting the area. There is so much to see from the scenic lookout points to the peaceful walking and hiking trails throughout the reserve. We loved seeing all the different plants, wildlife, waterways and natural beauty along the trails. One really unique thing that caught our attention were the agave plants near the palm trees. They almost look like strange tall Dr. Seuss style trees when they shoot up at certain times and they are such an interesting sight to see. Check my pics. It is something many people could easily miss if they are not paying attention. Between the scenery, wildlife and peaceful atmosphere, this reserve is such a beautiful escape into nature right within the city. It’s free to do

Go here to get away from all the noise and relax. Apparently, assorted 🐦 birds come here to enjoy the water and peace as well. The small islands 🏝 are cool for the birds to hang out and its nuce to look at. The bridge and views are magnificent here, especially during sunset. I need to go here more often. Great for the kids. Note: watch out for caterpillars and try not to step on them.

Easy, mostly flat hiking spot with excellent views of the Bolsa Chica Ecological reserve. There's something very calming about watching birds interact with the environment as well as with each other; watched one brown gull casually try to steal another gull's fish, only to be sternly chased away. It was quite entertaining.

Very nice visitors center and amazing trails with birds and fish and other wildlife. When the flowers bloom, it’s so pretty.

No payment for tickets or parking when I went which was great!! Saw lots of cute little creatures but the people were kind of annoying, some of them were loud and disruptive to the animals so please be respectful when you come here guys
