Lake Huntington sits on the west side of Central Park and is stocked periodically by California Fish & Wildlife, so it makes an easy first fishing spot for kids. Kathy May's Lakeview Cafe has a patio right on the lake for breakfast or to-go picnic food, and a playground is next to the cafe. Feeding the ducks and other wildlife is prohibited in city parks.
