Head a short way up from the play structure to reach the little overlook waterfall, which flows best after winter rains. Start early on hot days — the mesa par-course section is exposed.

A scare-free city Halloween celebration at Pantera Park for families with young children and dogs: games, photo stations, costume contests for people and pets, and dozens of vendor stations for trick-or-treating. Diamond Bar Windmill Lighting Ceremony
Thousands of lights switch on around the historic 30-foot Diamond Bar windmill for the season, with free hot drinks and carolers from 5pm and the lighting around 5:45pm. The sheriff's team also collects new toys and gift cards for kids from newborn to 14 for its Pack-A-Patrol Car drive. Tip: it is short and after dark, so bring a new toy to donate and wrap the kids up.
