This is a park with personality. It has a historic playground of big animal statues from 1968, as well as a more modern playground. A usually-dry stream-bed winds between them, crossed by several little bridges. There are shaded picnic tables. On a Saturday morning, there were several groups doing tai-chi. Small restrooms are available. Altogether, a very nice atmosphere and great for little kids.
